Hello I'm CHRIS, When I was in high school in Wales I dreamed of having my own business, thought I had to get some qualifications, so initially pursued a career as an accountant. However, myself and 1,000's of others were made redundant -no security in size! dreams dashed, needed an income so then trained as Mental Health and General Nurse, honestly no other work available, and the work was personally rewarding but not financially.
I had a strong desire to have an exciting life..in the sun so in my 20's I migrated to Australia, studied and qualified in Financial Services and remained self employed for 20+ years, I loved helping people who cared for their family and their financial future, but it was long hours with office and staff overheads leaving me tired. World events resulted in major financial losses leading to me becoming divorced and a single parent of my two teenage boys. I wanted to be there for them when they went to school and when they came home. Long business hours did not allow that so back to nursing.
When my boys/men who I love and am very proud of both left home I sought to become self employed again but without the overheads mentioned earlier, dabbled in Forex and Amazon but for me there was something missing and that is people.

I have worked and lived in Thailand, beautiful country and people. There are many wonderful places to visit in the world given time and money freedom equals better life choices for you and those you love.

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I was drifting, worked overseas in South America and Asia on investment product sales, travelled and worked in 27 countries opened a tourist business in Koh Samui then military takeover frightened away all the tourists and it closed. I have other business interests in Thailand such as Fish farm two coffee shops and recently land growing a very smelly but delicious fruit called Durian. Whilst that sounds great it is early days following the devastating effects of the Pandemic, part of my Goal is to use resources that will offer work and the chance for Thai people to be business owners, presently all businesses are rented out.
THE BEST BUSINESS TO HAVE: Firstly, flexibility with laptop and phone I can work anywhere, even travel the world! secondly, I control the time I work, thirdly, a business that helps others improve their lives personally and financially, and rewards for all who have desire to have a better life to be $ubstantial. This business is in The Personal Development field with award winning programs that can help people realise their greater potential in life and in business. I could create a list of at least 10 points but that is enough for now.
THE BIGGEST PAIN/FEAR IS THAT OF REGRET: I knew that if I did not Migrate to Australia then like many of my friends in the UK who now wished they had I would regret it later in life. Similarly to being a business owner/entrepreneur has had it's ups and downs but has given me amazing life experiences.
